What is an agent?
An agent is a single binary that runs on a Linux server or VM. Most environments use one agent per server. The agent connects to your self-hosted ServerMind server over QUIC.
Are all features included in every plan?
Yes. There is no feature gating. Free, Scale, and Custom plans all include every feature — monitoring, fleet operations, Kubernetes, AI, RBAC, compliance, everything. The only difference is the number of licensed agents and support level.
How does billing work?
You select the number of agents you need. Price per agent decreases as you scale ($49 for 2-10, down to $44 for 501-1000). You can upgrade or downgrade anytime. Payments are processed by Paddle as Merchant of Record.
Is ServerMind self-hosted?
Yes. ServerMind is fully self-hosted and on-premise. You install the server on your infrastructure and deploy agents to your nodes. Your data never leaves your environment — only license validation communicates with our cloud.
What happens if I change my agent tier?
You cannot connect more agents than your licensed tier allows — new connections are blocked at the limit. You can upgrade anytime to increase the limit. If you downgrade (e.g., from 100 to 70 agents), the most recently connected agents beyond your new limit will be disconnected. Active agents within the licensed tier continue operating without interruption.
Do you offer annual billing?
Yes. Annual billing is available for Scale and Custom plans. Contact sales for details.
How does the 20% welcome discount work?
New customers on any paid plan get 20% off their first 3 months. The discount is applied automatically at checkout — no coupon needed. After 3 months, standard pricing applies.
